My gearshift lever seems to vibrate a lot in third gear. It actually feels like gears really gnashing together, transmitted through the lever. It is really noticable, even when just cruising steady in third gear in the city. Not something I would think is normal. Maybe I should get the trans fluid checked? Anyone else have a 5-speed with a similar sensation?

This could be a good feature for date night in Vegas...

mechanic diagnosed it to be my driveshaft was out of balance. He said I need to have it replaced. btw, I can also hear a low rumble the goes with the vibration.
