Default hand brake cables replaced. Now rear brakes are locked.

Mechanics replaced brake cables (which took them 2.5 hours to complete).

Before one of the cables was frozen and I disconnected rear caliper. Now this caliper is locked and overheats right away. I will disconnect the cable and will try to readjust cables. Ottherwise I will look for replacement caliper. What do you think? I do not think cable adjustment will help much - handle has the same travel. Should I just replace the spring on caliper or the whole caliper. Anybody has driver side rear caliper?

If the cable adjustment doesn't work, you probably need a new caliper carrier (could be frozen).
