My A6 is doing something wierd! the drivers window is down and refuses to go up? tried key in lock method also window switch ? I know on my TT when the windows screw up you can reset them by moving all the way down then all the way up,
but I cant move it at all? It was working the other day express worked fine also?
Any and all help appreciated!

One of my past experiences with these electric windows is the switch. I have had to pull out the switch and even though the switch is sealed (not meant to come back apart) I have pulled the switch apart, very carefully and then cleaned the contacts inside. This has worked out well for me. If this is what you do as well, be sure to spray some contact cleaner on the contacts inside the switch. This should hopefully clear up the problem...good luck!

I think it must have a proximity switch but im not sure, i'll just have to wait untill my Bently gets here! I think also if it was the switch contact, that the key method that shuts all the other windows should work?

I found out what the trouble is , its the window motor regulator its fried in the down position ! I pulled the plug on it pushed the window up and reinstalled the motor to keep it up untill I get a new regulator! I think the motor is ok it still runs, im calling Blau tommorrow! at least I can drive it now!
