high rev's after atf change....

ok so i changed the atf this morning and now i'm rev'ing pretty high before it changes gears. has anyone else experience this? anyone have an idea of whats going on.

Did you get the level correct?

Sounds like it is slipping for some reason. What kind of fluid? Change the filter aswell?

dipstick says that its good...

changed the filter and put in some mobil-1.

Huh... what year is your car?

if it has the dipstick, then its one of the earlier models, right? Anyway, is Synthetic recommended? I'm pretty sure the years without the dipstick, you have to use Audi stuff, but if you have a dipstick you can just use Dexron III. Have you ever used the synthetic before, could be the problem.
