Default Horrendous wind noise

Hey all. Every since I bought my 93 100s(going on three beautiful months now), I have had some pretty bad wind noise around the front driver's side and passenger's side windows. This happens at highway speeds and is quite noticeable. Have tried rubbing silicone protectant around the door seals but this did not help. Any other ideas? Thanks so much

Default Check the top hinges.....

That is a pretty heavy door. The top hinge starts flexing in the middle and the door will not close all the way in the front.

Default Re: Horrendous wind noise

I have had a similar problem with the passenger side door on mine. I suspect that a previous owner had a run in here as there is replacement glass in this window.

It got better after I tried the brute force method of bending the top of the window frame in toward the body. Just stuck a 2X4 in where the lock is and pushed hard (but not too hard).
