Default hot air

I have a question about the ac on my 92 100s. Even when all of the controls for the A.C. are turned off, I still get a nice amount of warm air coming out of the vents. Is this normall or is there somthing that I can do to cure this.

I have that in my 92 100s. It blows warm air when everythings off, if the vents are open. It blows REALLY hot air if you turn the heat on. The AC works just fine.

Sounds like the temp air mix flap / motor is stuck.

Default Try turning on the AC. the 'lil snow flake symbol button. Did it work?

.... if my stand in heat it blows right out hot. After 5 minutes I'm sittin' in a fridge.

Default same issue

I also have a '92 100S and I noticed the same type of symptons the other night. It was cool outside, so I had the windows down and the sunroof open, but I could still beel warm air around by my feet. Played with the controls, and finally settled on the forward vents so that at least my feet weren't roasting, but was still feeling warm air. I had been on a pretty long drive (hour or so), but it still seemed like I shouldn't get anything out of the vents when they are off. Strange.....
