how do I reset the remote cental locking?
My key does not activate the remote central locking and needs to be coded to work (this is what I was told) Can I do it myself and how? Audi 100 1992
(I only have 1 IR key!!!! Does this matter)?

You need two keys to reprogram but only one needs to be IR
First try locking the doors with the key on the drivers side or trunk lock, then unlock and relock with the key. Once locked, try to use the remote. If all else fails try this post:
