I went to midas to have a leakdown test
done and they said that my left head
gasket was leaking pretty bad,
It has leaked ever since I bought the car
but lately its been really bad,
has anyone ever replaced there head gaskets?
If so, how long did it take?

They did brakes on my Cherokee-overcharges and were incompetent- I wouldn't let them NEAR my Audi. AND think about the warrenty- why would you RETURN to someone who didn't know what they were doing in the first place!?!
Avoid midas at all cost. YMMV

Yes, con artists: they estimated $600 labor for replacing the exhaust of my son the Audi 80!

that I do have a huge oil leak
and they would not even touch the
head gasket, So why would they tell

I'm not saying that it is or isn't. Im saying that in my experience they are the LAST ones I'd rely on to tell me ANYTHING. If you know it is leaking take it to someone who might have a clue. There are lots of places oil can leak from. Your original post said "I have to replace my head gaskets!!!! "

You obviously struck a well of resentement when you mentioned Midas- I'm just saying that they are incompetent- at least the shop I dealt with...
