shoocks seem t be fine, and this is not a track car. looking at H&R springs for $289, and wondering if any other hardware would be needed, like new shocks.... car is 93 100 CSQ. thanks.

Anytime you change your OEM springs to aftermarket ones, that are lower & stiffer, you should also get an "uprated" shock designed to run with the stiffer, shorter springs. Reason being the stiffer springs place greater stress on the shocks. Something most OEM shocks are not designed to handle, and it will cause the to wear prematurely. You can use OEM shocks, but they wont last.
You would want to also get new upper strut bearings with new shocks & springs.
