If the speedo is broken... can I just buy a used instrument cluster and swap it?
I assume the gears and such are all connected/within the instrument cluster?
How would the odometer work? (different between actual and instrument cluster)
And, would I be able to put in an A6 cluster (with chrome rings) into a 100 without modifications?

Maybe - the instrument cluster for '92 - '94 has replaceable components. '95 and '96-'97 use a....
complete instrument cluster w/ different P/Ns.

I see the cluster as all electronic but you may be able to get just the speedo
