My memory settings are not working at all. When I use the key remote, the mirrors will do whatever they feel like, and the memory seating doesn't do anything. Can someone tell me how to reset the seat and mirrors. Also auto window up function works sometimes and then sometimes it won't, what is going on with my A6? Help.

What year is your car? To my knowledge, the cars for this forum do not have an auto UP feature on the window, just down. Or are you referring to the feature where you lock the car with the key and the windows and sun roof close?

Did you recently disconnect the battery? You may have to reprogram your keys (explained in the garage section here.

basically, turn the ignition on with one key (not the one you are programming), close the door, manually lock it with the key (that you are programming), then unlock it with the button, hit the Key the number of times you want it to correspond to the seat memory number (ie hit it once for memery one, hit it twice for memory two.

Yes that what I was talking about the lock the door with the key and everything closes. I will try to do the two key option like you suggested. Thanks Eggie.

Also noticed, it has a safety; incase you stick yr neck* out the window, while its going up, it will automatically retract. (*Neck testing not suggested, incase feature doesn't work on yr car.)
