Default MMS 311-400-411?

In the Bentley CD, the fuel injection & ignition section is broken down between the MMS 300, 400 or 411 for the AFC engine. I know, dumb question, but how do I know which one I have?

Default The 96 A6 has the MMS 400. If you have a secondary air pump, then you have MMS 410. MMS 411...

was started w/ '97 A6 (a Leak Detection Pump was added to MMS 410). BTW, '96 & newer vechicles are OBD II compliant.

There's no mention of MMS 410 in the literature, so I assume that I go by the MMS 400. I'm well versed in the OBD II system, but appreciate the extra info.

Default The info I provided is taken from the Audi Tech Manual on Engine Management Systems. MMS 410...

only added the secondary air pump to the MMS 400, so you should use the info on MMS 400 as you stated for your '96 A6.
