The plastic part of the gas pedal fell off. I have looked at it and found that pedal had plastic peace, attached to the base with the flexible join and pushed by the spring. So when you press pedal the plastic peace would move beck and force to be right on my foot.
Now I have several options:
1. Order new pedal (as I learned it would cost $80) and install it. I probably might call my extended warranty first. Note this is only way I can see, which would make the pedal flexible again.
2. Glue on or screw on the plastic peace. It is easiest and cheapest way, but cover would not be flexible anymore.
3. Buy these metal "ricers" pedal covers and replace my brake and gas pedals. Yuck!
4. Leave it as is. I do not like it because the difference in the heights of the brake and gas pedal.
Any suggestions. I have seen the previous topic on this meter.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6100/msgs/13234.phtml">here is the original thread.</a></li></ul>

You remember, when everybody changed their backlights? Or when we had squeacing control arms? This summer at least four people had their moonroof broken at the same point! What is going on?
My theory is: there is a bond between me and my car and when I read about something, I think about it and it transfers to the car and breaks.
just kidding.
