Need help finding rebuild kit

Hey all, I've got a newly aquired 92' Audi 100s, picked it up for basically nothing, and need to rebuild this engine. I am trying to find the most economical rebuild kit avail. The engine had 160kmi on it, so I'm going to do timing, waterpump, alternator as well. I am sourcing some stuff from stopshopanddrive.com but I would love to find a rebuild kit, perhaps save pistons, all in one somewhere. Thank you guys!

160k is nothing on one of these, so unless you actually have a failed engine, I wouldn't waste the $3,000+ it will take to build a proper engine using German parts....and that's if you do your own assembly.
You're talking about a car with a street value of about $1,500.00, if you're lucky.
For what you'd spend building an engine, you could by a later model with less miles, needing only minor TLC.
I just had the heads off mine (hunting for blown headgaskets, which it wound up not having) and at 210,000mi, the cross-hatch pattern is still VERY visible in the cylinders and there was basically no ridge at the top of the bores.

Well, the engine won't crank, and we believe the motor to be seized, based on the failure the P.O described. It may be as simple as timing, though.
I know it is premature, but was hoping that perhaps like my beloved VW there would be some kits avail.
I will find out for sure when I open her up, and will take a minimalist approach to the repair, if able.

with the socket on the crank pulley. You'll know in less than 30 seconds if the motor is seized. Pull the serpentine belt if you want a better feel for the motor itself. I had a 12V project with a seized AC compressor that created so much friction on the serp belt that the starter couldn't turn the motor and eventually burnt out.
then pull the DTC's...the car will likely tell you exactly what's wrong with itself.
