both rear don't work, maybe a possible fuse in that amp in trunk?? Front right door speaker gets just fuzz when it makes any sound. I checked in the book for fuse info, there was none. Anyone been through this and know what to look for? Thanks, Pat

I have a '94 100S and a couple of years ago my rear speakers started cutting out. My car does in fact have amplified rear speakers, so one can't simply replace them...total pain. Alas, I did the dealer swap thing and got a reconditioned head unit for $100. All has worked perfectly since then.

I too have the dreaded fuzz from the passenger door speaker, no sound, just fuzz.
Fortunately the rears are still working.
To diagnose the problem (look for shorts) I'll have to run fresh wires directly to the door speaker to see if that is the problem.
If not it's either the Amp in the Bose front right
speaker or the head unit.
Swapping the left front for the right front will determine whether it's the speaker or the head unit.
So that's my diagnostic plan.
Style 12v posted some excellent instructions on how to remove the doors.
