Default Nitrogen gas VS air in tyres

Hi Audiowners,

Are there any advantages or disadvantages using Nitro instead of air for the tyres?

Default I believe it expands/contracts less int hot/cold than air.

I don't know what else...

Default We put it in airplane's to combat explosions, and no oxygen- doesnt effect the rubber!

But in an automotive application, its not really needed, because the pressures are not high enough, and car tires are less pure rubber than aircraft tires. ;O)

Default Air is mostly made up of nitrogen (molecular weight 28.966 vs. 28.016 respectively), hence no...

difference between the two gases re: pressure behavior due to temperature changes.
