No A/C - 96 A6Q
Pulled CC head codes and got 08.6 (G92 position sensor malfunction). This appears to be part of the temp flap servo motor. Tested servo for operation, and it seemed to work fine. Replaced with a known good unit with no change in operation. Still no A/C. I am getting no response from the compressor and no fans when I have a snowflake on the cc head. Have not been able to check for charge yet, so could it be off on the low pressure switch? Any other places to look? No problems with A/C in the past, no reduction in cooling output prior to failure. Cooling just seemed to disappear. Seems more electrical to me than a low/no charge issue. TIA

Could be alot of things but I would start with the system pressure
then fuses then jump the low pressure switch and see what happens, if no go try the high pressure switches but only if the pressure was normal.., if that doesn't work check the temp switch on the pass side coolant pipe.. Im pretty sure that's the one that sends its signal to the ac unit..
