O2 Sensors for Audi A6, 1996?
Greetings!
I am wondering if someone can tell how many O2 sensors in Audi A6 1996 and their part numbers.
Also, it would be great to know where they are exactly located in the car. Is that possible to replace them my myself?

you can replace two front sensors.
rear sensors can stay there for long time. You will need O2 sensor socket and some heavy duty break bars. Look at FAQ below for the way how to use generic Bosch sensors - you will save a lot of money.

According to my list, the P/N's are as follows:
For a 1996 Audi A6,
078-906-265 A ----Pre Cat
078-906-265 C ----Post Cat
IF your car has Cali emissions you need the following:
078-906-265 B ----Pre Cat
Post Cat O2 is same as above.
078-906-265 A ----Pre Cat
078-906-265 C ----Post Cat
IF your car has Cali emissions you need the following:
078-906-265 B ----Pre Cat
Post Cat O2 is same as above.
