oil pressure sensor aah engine
wheres the oil pressure sensor on the aah engine? as soon as i turn on the ignition i have the gauge at over 5bar. so i guess the sensor is bad... any ideas?

The switch is behind the oil cooler on the drivers side of the engine. It is very difficult to get to unless you are doing some suspension work. If it is not leaking and you can live with the false pressure reading then I would leave it alone until you decide to do some suspension work.

I have a '94 100. My pressure is always at over 5 bar at startup, and when traveling at speed stays at 5 bar. I switched to 10w30 mobil 1 rather that 15w50 and now my car idles at about 3 bar when warm. Used to be 4 with 15w50.
