So I have just about gotten my drivers side fender off the car, but still have the two remaining bolts underneath the car's hood. The lever inside the cabin which normally pops the hood does not engage anything, and if i manually pull the tab underneath the hood, it does not release the latch.
Is there any way to open the hood or get at this latch manually?
Thanks.

the upper radiator support are in their proper holes. If they're broken you could hold them in place while someone else pulls the inside lever. If neither hood latch appears to be releasing I'd bet on the driver's side clip being out of position.
Tip: you can wedge the right-sized 1x2 board under the inside hood lever to act as your 2nd person. Then give the hood a good pull up simultaneously near each catch pin.

I can't really see what's going on with the hood latch from underneath the car, as it's not very visible.

One on each side, push each of them toward the centre of the car.
I don't have my C4 here with me (drove the C3 today) so I can't help you with pictures.

It seems like the drivers side was stuck a bit, but i got the passengers side unlocked and with a bit of prying (and looking like an enormous tool practically giving my car cpr in the parking lot), I got both sides open and got the fender off.
I did start the car and move it a few feet so I could get underneath, and she sounded horrible. Could be that there is no gas in her...
The shock absorber looks like it's been pushed back those 1 or 2 inches, and it also appears that an alignment may be all she needs (in addition to a new fender). She's getting towed to the shop tomorrow.
Thanks for all the help.
