Folks,
My transmission (Auto, 96A6Q) sometimes goes into the limp mode. I had a mechanic pull up the codes:
1. 00652
2. 00532
3. P2234
Mighty grateful for any help in figuring out what these codes mean!
Thanks
Manu

Your 00532 Code refers to a supply voltage problem. I think this refers to the voltage to the TCM.
Possible causes: On-Board voltage below 9V
Wiring malfunction in voltage supply to tcm or solenoid valves.
Poor ground on TCM
Voltage Supply to solenoid valves interupted
Relay or transistor in tcm to solenoid valve voltage supply malfunctioning.
Your 00652 refers to the Transmission Range Controller. To many causes to list. Check your ATF though.
I do not know what the last one is.
Also, what kind of weird things is the tranny doin? I would try clearing the codes and see if they come back. Good Luck.

My mechanic charged me $360 to fix it. Actually, he charged $160, but had already charged me $200 couple of months ago for a similar problem.
Runs fine now! Feeling really good that I didn't need a new transmission.
