Recently the power locks on my A6 have started acting odd. They unlock fine, however sometimes when I lock them i have to turn it several times to get it to work. Sometimes even this doesn't work, and i have to use the lock in the trunk, which then locks all doors correctly.
The onlyt thing I can think of is that the power lock motor that mechanically turns the lock in the trunk is dying. Has anyone experiences this?

First make sure you do not have a air leak in the system. The best way to do it is to lock or unlock you car and wait to hear any hissing sound like an air leak... follow this sound and search for the leak... making sure either you are trying to lock or unlock to ensure the hissing sound coming out... Find this leak and plug it or replace the tubing... I found a leak on a rubber tube in my trunk near the right hinge on passenger side of the car.. Replace it for free from Lee Auto Parts and everything works perfectly now... The dealer ofcourse wanted $70 to replace the 5 inches of rubber tubing or $400 to replace the complete tubing of the car...

Other than the locks being out of syn, what would cause the central lock pump to cycle over and over
