Even though this is a heater core, that Eric was flushing out, the same principal can apply for a radiator. A word of caution do not apply more than 15psi of air pressure or you could damage the radiator.

Well folks, my Audi is back home from the mechanic’s and is now functioning properly. It was the thermostat after all so I had the coolant reservoir, water pump, seals, timing belt and serpentine belt replaced, and both valve cover gaskets to stop existing leaks. I also had Michelins installed all around, rear brake pads & executed needed alignment. Also got rid of the stock cassette deck/radio and had a JVC installed with two new rear speakers.
After a very-very thorough cleaning today, inside and out, my ol Audi is in “as new” condition. Have I told you how much I love this car?
Thank you for all your help!
