Radio Code to unlock?

If serious. The whole idea of the code is to protect radio from been activated after it was disconected from power supply. If there is a simple way to find this code, it would deminish this idea. You have to go to dealership and ask them to give you the code. I think it cost $25, if they will need to pull radio out and might be free, if you will take radio out yourself.

Whats the order to get the code to work?
Turn on radio, then press all code buttons? 1 at a time? I think my code used the 1 and 4 and the ari-z and maybe the DX or FM buttons...
isn't there also somthing about if you try and get it wrong you have to turn radio off for 5 minutes and then try again?

fails far from home. You will not have to drive home in silence. I store each digit one or two off of correct code in case any one needs my radio.
