radio problem

radio problem
the 2nd radio on my Audi 100 just went (this one after just under a year)
The same thing happened to both, the on/off **** would start getting touchy - sometimes work, sometimes not.
Usually if you turned it several times it would come on, sometimes if you spun it real hard.
Eventually the radio began to flick of and on all by itself, almodt like a loose power connection, Ugggh
Any way to fix this without having to get another whole new radio?
