Hey, anyone know how I can get my Delta back to the code mode? I entered the code wrong twice after a dead battery, and got it stuck in the SAFE mode with two slashes. I got the proper code from a dealer, followed instructions and left the player on for an hour. After the hour the unit just powers off, and remains in the SAFE mode. If anyone has any ideas or tricks on how to restore this Delta to working condition please leave me a message.

If an incorrect code is entered twice, your radio will be locked for about one hour. After one hour - the radio must stay on and the key must remain in the ignition lock - if the display goes out, then you can repeat the above procedure to unlock again. The cycle - two attempts, one hour lock-up - still applies.

As stated in my post, I followed these instructions, but the radio just reverts to the SAFE mode. My problem is getting the radio to once again give me a chance to enter the
code.

try disconnecting the battery for an hour. when you reconnect the battery, the radio should be clear and allow you to attempt the code entry.

Tried the disconnect of the battery........no luck.

I'm probably in the same situation, somehow, my 98A6Q Concert stay in SAFE mode. I tried it earlier , before I got the proper code, and it was working and I was able to enter the code.
Did you get yours fixed? If so, how?
