Hi,

I have a problem with my Audi 100, recently I´ve noticed that rain water is pooring down from behind the dashboard to the floor(pedals) - is anyone here familiar with this problem? I would appreciate some good advise on this subject.

If your Audi 100 is the same as a 1996 Audi A6, then:
Open the hood and check that the cover for the electrical box, at the left side, in front of the windshield is secure. Also check that the two plenum drains are not clogged with debris such as leaves. The plenum has a large plastic cover in front of the windshield which must be removed to get to the drain in front of the air handler box.

I am having the same problem this week , there is a rain water tray around inside the sun roof footing area that has two drain holes that are attached to tubes that drain the water down to the rocker panels . over time the tubes can expand or contract thus coming unattached . then water ends up all over the place inside the car (1993 100 c4) , with my car the air handler above floor(pedals)has filled with water . It's happens with most all car with factory sun roofs over time . the guy at the auto glass repair shop says 3-4 hour job , so $100 fix , but trust me as more water gets in all kind of things happen .
