Can someone lead me to directions on how to remove the driver side rear door panel on a 100s wagon? It looks straigt foward, except for the arm rest, is that attached to the panel or to the door frame. Thanks again, everyone has been a great help on this board. I kew I should have kep my 96 A4 a little longer.

pull off the plastic inserts on the door handle. they will pry off. underneath are two phillips screws. unscrew them and door pull will come off.
with the door pull removed, you can move the plastic trim away from the door latch. lift it out and take off the cable.
at the front and back near the window are two black (or same color as intereior) screws. also take them off.
from the bottom of the door, use the heel of your hand or rubber mallet and bump it up. panel shoould be completely free except for wires to window switch, which you can reach with panel loose.
