Before it became stuck I would pull the inside handle and the door would open, but the handle would get stuck out(wouldn't retract). Now the handle gets stuck, but the door doesn't open. I tried pushing it open while pulling the handle, but no luck. The outside handle moves but it doesn't open the door. Should I try to fix this myself and how would I? (just to remind you, I'm a novice) Also, does anyone have any pictures/diagrams on the rear door removal and/or door lock mechanics for a 94 100s?

My front passenger side also got stuck last week, cannot open from outside (pulling) or inside (pushing). This is what I did : lock and unlock the door using car key for a couple of times to check the mechanism is working (the stick would move up and down); started the car and using my hand to press down and pull up the stick to check whether it is working; then I pull the inside handle and push the door simultaneously. Fortunately the door opened and upon checking the latch mechanism, saw a piece of broken metal (thin) stuck inside, pull it out. Solve the problem, until today it hasn't occured again. Sorry for a bit long. Hope you can try it and maybe this can also solve your problem.
