Rear speakers wont work....

Well I got around to putting a cd player in the A6.. but just my luck the back speakers wont work.. not even a crackle so Im guessing its a power issue... I know and check i hooked up all the wires correctly so any suggestions on where I ****ed uP?

rear speakers. If you lost power to the rear amp or blown fuse you wouldn't have either rears.

Cause i know when i had my factory gamma in they worked fine. Now with my wiring harness i get nothing from them. I believe i have to find somone to rewire everything for me.

slap an ohm meter on them and check their impedance...should be 4 ohm...if so should work...if they are 1 ohm be careful...i know bose uses 1 ohm and those will fry the deck...if you have an amplifier(usually mounted in trunk under deck) bypass it and run the line straight to the speakers...should work

Apparently it´s not uncommon that the wire between the connector on the speaker ond the coil inside the speaker is bad. The solution is to solder a new wire. Worked perfectly on my car.

Thanks for this info.We have a 92 100CS wagon and only one front right speaker worked and all the tweeters when we bought it.Fussed about the radio coding until I read about this wire connector.It worked very well and the sound is quite acceptable.Thankyou.
