rims/tires

Whats a good rim and tire set up for a '92 100cs. I'm looking for rims that are lighter and tires that are sportier. Also i've read mixed reviews for the offset either 30 or 45 which one is better?

i think 30 doesn't apply here...i belive anything between 35 and 42 will work

cheap lightweight wheels can be found at edgeracing.com
quality?...you get what you pay for but i've seen them on the S forum...i'm considering them as well

I just bought (and quickly sold!) a set of 17x7.5" et30 rims. Beautiful but heavy and....

the 30mm offset pushed them out a bit far with non-flared fenders. I'd say the most important thing is to find wheels that are close to the original alloys weight if not lighter. Heavy wheels with these underpowered cars are a drag (pun intended!)
