Who has experience this lovely feature. Each and everytime time you come to a stop the drivers seat rocks forward slightly. In fact you can sit in it and tip it back and forward to the point were it is a bit annoying. Anyone find a simple fix or does this require a complete replacement of the seat mechanism? Hopefuly it maybe a simple tighting or replacement of some nylon type sliders? I have looked under the seat and can not seem to identify what exactly is sloppy in the seat mechanism...passenger side is fine!

does it rock side by side? in this case check the rail, that the seat slide for foward and backward adjustment. As you've said probably need to put some nlyon type sliders, in my case, cut a slice of old fan belt.

rocks forward and back, its not much play put by the time you sit in it that play and certainly be annoying. hmmm the belt sounds like an interesting idea.....

I have looked at the seat mechanism and it's not real obvious were the slack is coming from. Would probably have to remove the seat, turn it up side down and have look see. I suspect that the metal frame has probably worn and elongated some of the the pivot points. It's probably not good news but I was hoping that someone has gone thru this and could offer up a simple solution. It certainly is annoying!
