I have numerous, small scratches all over my 1993 100s' paint-- they are very shallow and can only be seen in correct light. We first thought that this was from a car wash, but an auto body person said it was from mixing paint while repainting the car, and that the clear coat was gone. However, we saw no evidence of repainting in the records, and there was no paint at all anywhere it was not supposed to be. Has anyone else had paint problems like this on their Audi? Thanks!

looks like thousands of swirls in your paint?
If so, you need to use several coats of glaze to get rid of them. Zaino Bro make probably the best you can get.

One source is an automatic car wash.

This just started in the last year with my '84 BMW. I think it means that the clear coat is breaking down.

I have a similar problem with my car. It is pearl white and has those tiny scratches all over it. its freakin everywhere. Ive tried everything, waxing....waxing waxing....whashing....its endless. but nothing works. The paint on the car however is still fine..it seems to be on the surface....meaning the clearcoat or something. I might be wrong. describe to me what it looks like. and ill have a idea if its the same as my problem. do u have a pic of the problem????
