Default Sounds like a bit of marketing to me. I thought the refiners shipped gas in bulk and...
manufacturers added their own additive packs for their brands. I could be wrong but not sure there's a huge difference though I use Shell 'cuz it's close to my place.

gasoline is gasoline, they just add additives once its getting pumped into the truck..

Default I've read that...
Its good to stick with one manufacturer of gas for a few thousand miles. Then switch to another, so all the additive by the first manufacturer get burned off (another couple thousand).. i hope this makes sense.

Default IMHO different addtives are like different brend of soap: All the same just smell differently
in other words, I am not driving 10 miles to get "correct" brand of gas.
