Default Strange brake pad wear.
I noticed the other day that my front pads, the outside ones at least, are wearing unevenly. The pads are thinner towards the outside of the rotors compared to the side at the center of the rotor. Both sides seem to be the same and the rotors are worn but look to be alright. Is this normal? I've never seen it before.

Default Are you sure you're seeing the entire pad good enough to tell? You might remove them and check.
I haven't looked at how these calipers move, but if your pads are wearing funning, is it possible your calipers are really rusty where they are supposed to slide or pivot (if they are that style of caliper)?

Default How old are the pads?...
The last set I put on my car were beveled on the leading edge from the factory. Could that be what you're seeing?

Default N. Seems the pad is in the caliper at an angle, or the rotor is warped (more at outside)
as austinado16 asked, are you sure this is not an illusion?
