Does anyone have any recommendations on how to remove stripped six 10mm 12 pt tripple square bolts. They were rusty and stripped before they came loose. I am sure I was partially responsible since I was using an impact. I only stripped two. Can you replace these with something a little more normal fastener?

By stripped, you mean the head, not the threads? If you stripped the head, then you may use a new visegrip pliers with it's screw greased and then turn the screw even tighter on the head with another vise grip.

Vice grips worked no problem. Advice to anyone doing the axle replacement in the future. Make sure you've got an extra long breaker-bar for the turn portion of the torque-turn on the axle bolt. Also, don't make the mistake of not buying a triple square bit.
