Default Stumbling along on cold start

My '93 CS Q with approximately 205,000 kms has just started to stumble at start and continues for awhile. Once it warms up it smoothes out abit. If I am stopped for a period of time - ie traffic ligh- the CHECK ENGINE comes on. Once I move on the light goes out and the cars moves on quite nicely. No drop in gas mileage - car is routinely serviced - had plugs changed about 30,000 kms ago (head gasket too) It just strated recently with this issue. Any ideas??? Fuel pump? bad gas? ignition packs? wires? Input would be appreciated!

Might be a dirty idle air control (IAC) valve N71. Search the forum for IAC cleaning.
