style 12v I'd like to see how you positioned the k&n airfilter with a new intake? I want to do that

So Anybody knows what to do with that damn hose. I am about to order that filter and dont know what to do. Guyes in TAP saing that it is not very important. HELP!!!

It is actually a hose with thin metal spiral insert. It is not very long and pury thik in diameter. I can't veryfy it on the picture. Is this only on my damn car or what.

I think the hose comes from the area where part #17 (on the picture) connects to the engine.

Default Pre heat hose....

Channels warm air from around the exhaust manifold
to the air box to allow the engine to warm up faster in cold climates.

In the airbox there should be a flap which blocks off the warm air after the car has warmed up.

If you live in a warm part of the US you don't have to worry about it.

If like me you live in MI and can't wait for your car to warm up in the morning you may want to consider leaving the stock Air box in place during the winter.

Without the air box in place you may as well remove the hot air tube because you are just channeling hot air towards the cone filter.
