Sunroof console......
I know I posted about this last week but Im still confused. My sunroof console wont stay up. But the plastic tabs there dont appear to be broken. What actually holds it up? I really cant tell, and since nothing appears to be broken Im even more confused.

Re: Sunroof console......
Check the metal spring-like things at the front part. They may have compressed so much so that they do not grip the hole where the console fits anymore.
Check the plastic tabs again... they may be at the point of breaking.
Check the hole where the console fits, as its edges may be broken somewhere.
Aside of this, you've probably got like pole magnets in there resisting themselves (this is a joke!!!).

Re: Sunroof console......
The metal spring may have actually broken off, and this is why you don't see them attached to the top of the console. This is what happened on mine when it fell from the headliner.

here's some pics referencing the metal bracket...
Note the metal bracket/pins on the left & right side...

The 3 hooks at the rear of the panel broke on mine and one of the metal brackets in front. Found a replacement from someone here in the forums. I glued the broken parts(see image) from my original and have kept it in my garage.

You may want to try with Shokan if they have a spare one in good condition. My unit is color beige/ecru if you're interested.

Re: Sunroof console......
Yup. The spring clips are still on my old cover. However, they are plastic welded to the cover. Doesn't look like an easy replacement. Epoxy might work but I wouldn't trust it. Better to get another cover.
