I had issue, similar to others - sunroof opened and stuck in this position. I have used various technicks to reset it - did not help. What is more interesting it happened after the heavy rain. So I have taken appart sunroof motor and I found electronic printed board full of rust and other crup (apparently from the heavy rain). This borad was in the black plastic box next to the motor. I cleaned it with WD40 and wooden stick. I hope it will fix the problem.

PS it would suck if the sunroof would open during the rain, whould not it?

my sunroof open on a sunny day and went inside a friends house. In about an hour i hear something outside... i run and c that its raining like a m**f**r. My whole interior was SOAKED. That's how it is here in MI and i learned the hard way. Wather changes drastically every 5 min.

all night long, the next morning everything was soaked and there were 3 in deep puddles in the back floor areas. that sucked to say the least.
