I found a lot of mixed results while searching for info on the switchblade remote mod for 97 and up C4's.
so I tried both remotes mentioned and yes they both work..
the 3 button fob has the FCC id MZ241081964 and the 4 button ends in 63 instead or 64.

Did you use the turn key, leave the car, stand on one foot, twist the key, push three times, pat your head method or did you use VAG to program them?
I've tried three or four different methods (and new batteries) with no success. I haven't tried VAG yet.
The dealer says they won't charge me to program the remote but I need to have it there first thing in the morning 'cause it may take all day and it may not work at all they just don't know. It seems bizarre that they can't tell whether it will work.
