At least in a 1992 100s there are two temp sensors, the first is used for ecu and the second is used for the temp guage. Unless the dash light warning light comes on, you probably dont have a problem. My temp guage only occasionally moves of the zero line, but I know all is well because 1) the dash malfunction indicator says nothing and 2) the oil temperature is mormal. What I am saying in a round about way is dont worry.
