Those little climate control motors are expensive. $180 for the air flow flap one..
(G113) [4A0 820 511 A]. Any suggestions?
The electric motor seems to spin fine, I rebuilt the motor as per the FAQ, but it doesn't seem to be working when in-car. Perhaps the positoning potentiometer is dead?

have you confirmed you're getting voltage to the motor? used motors are available at the junkyard.
I have a couple used spares if worse comes to worst.

I was going to ask the same question, because all air come in via that duct & flap
Even in recirculation mode, the airflow is still "through the evaporator box" and then into the blower fan blades via that big yellow flap.
