Default Tips for replacing pump to accumulator hose

So I just picked up a 91 100 quattro (clean car, 150K, etc) only problem is that there is a leak in the lower section of the pump to accumulator section of the power brake hose (it is pretty severe it will go thru a quart of fluid just idling for about 10 mins). My question is, is there a simple or easy way to undo the bolt that holds the the hose (well pipe since it is metal at that point) to the accumulator? It appears that I can't get in there with a socket without removing the sub-frame so I am left with a regular wrench or vice grips. The bolt is so rusted that it wont budge and to make matters worse, applying any pressure to it just rotates the accumulator. I have tried wedging some wood in there to eliminate any movement, but I'm still not having any luck.
Also I have a friend that offered me the what I paid for the car so I would just be out the couple hundred $ for the parts, should I accept and take this has a early warning sign. Other than this issue the car is pretty nice.
TIA
