Default Topped 105 MPH today- gas pedal stuck..>>

and I'm hitting it to free it, instead it just goes faster. Thank god I was on the interstate (route 88- near Oneonta) Tried "prying" pedal back but no go. I guess the sticking problem I was having got worse!!
I don't have time or heat to deal with it now- my mechanic found a part (cable assy) for $105 (Hey-same as my speed!!) Clair had it for like 40ish- and the guy was real helpful- he double checked it with my vin # just to be sure. I'm still nervous about the difference in price- did one include "more"?

Anyway- it finally let off- I drove the rest of the way to work (and the 30 miles home) using the pedal SLIGHTLY till I got to cruise control speed and toggled that-I guess the cruise uses different parts to regulate speed!!

Good thing I was wearing my brown pants- no one knew how scary it was!

Default Glad you're alive, I have the same problem passing people.

One second I'm doing 60-65 and in two I'm doing 118 and 100 feet in front of them. I didn't really consider the physics involved until I was hitch-hiking a few weeks ago and observed vehicles passing me by at speeds way above the posted limit. Imagine going from 120 to 0 in milliseconds, thats a lot of energy my friend. Heres to a new and safe year.

Default 88 is awesome. One time at night with ZERO traffic...

I hit like 141, redline in 5th on that road. Granted it was a slight downhill. This was in my type44 100 quattro sedean. And just to mention, there was no traffic, it was 3AM.
