My 92 100S didn't have a remote when I got it, should it have?

It also does not work from the driver side door. You have to use pasenger or trunk key to turn it on

You probably have a bad driver's side infrared receiver.

Can I get a new "clicker" for a reasonable price?

I paid $135. Others here have paid $110-$125. Dealer only if you want the key to be cut to your VIN.

1. Remove back seat bottom
2. Open right rear door.
3. Lock car with key or remote (assuming it locks with the door open...i.e. roll down window first).
4. Disconnect battery.
5. Unlock car with key.
6. Reconnect battery.

I tried to reprogram my Remote key.. its not working.. I couldn't do it Scince i bought my car.. I bought this 1 yr back at that time i din't had battries.. But once i put battries, i gave to dealer he couldn't reprogram it.. I followed all steps in mannual but no luck.. Basically what i did is, I kept my other lock (not remote) into ignition but just kept one pos before starting car..where u can see all lights..glown..and used and got out.. windows down..locked all doors.. by pressing button inside..and aimed at transmitter prssed the buttons..nothing happend.. i unlocked doors and again locked with Remote key with out using remote(i mean physically) and then pressed buttons nothing happens!!! Can anyone let me know what might be problem.. Sorry my car is 92 100 CS Q
