Default Valve Cover Leak

I am getting oil burn off on the exh manifold. My question is is there another possible source besides the cover seal? It looks like the cover has a seam down the side. Am I seeing things?

Default A rubber gasket goes around the base of the VC. They get baked hard & then leak

Plus, on the right rear, there is a Cam plug that leaks big time. Replacing both the plug and VC gasket on the right, and just the gasket on the left.

Default I'll probably only do the left for now unless they come in a pair. But is the cover one piece?

I have the plastic kind.

My aluminum covers on my '95 are one piece. Not sure about later years.

Yup, one piece. The gaskets between the up to '95 and later ones are slightly different.

Default To replace the cam plug on the right...

Loosen the rear cam bearing bolts and then push the plug to the rear. After the new plug is in place, retorque the bearing bolts.
