Hey guys, any ideas....recently, while stopped in gear, my idle will pull down about 150-200 rpm for a bit and then resume back to around 775-800 rpm.
Almost like the air-conditioner clutch kicking in except my AC is off.
Suggestions to check?
Thanks, Tom G

While it was only 3"Hg it was enough to lower the idle slightly. Sounds to me like a dying/dead EGR solenoid.
But, back to the low idle/sometimes stall condition: It doesn't happen all the time and is actually pretty random when it does. It's almost as it the IAC goes wide open and gets stuck there. But what if it's reacting to fix the problem?
I've had it off, cleaned it w/o any change. Normally idles perfectly until it just drops out, sometime recovers, sometimes not....
Still working on it.
All the above is in reference to the A6Q.
