I used to live in Arcata, CA.......the "real" northern California. So I'm still warped on the fact that the Bay Area is actually "central" and that south of that is southern Cali.

But I know, this area is called "The Central Coast." I still laugh at that. It's like this state doesn't exist past the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Adaledas in TJ Baby... $40 includes the drink the room the girl and free ****. (In case you need motivation)Of course since you own an Audi you are not new to negotiating and might be able to broker a better deal.

Default Having grown up in San Jose, I can tell you that the Northerners consider So Cal...

starting at about Santa Barbara and south to the Mexican border. But I know what you mean about the upper Northern Cal area - its quite different than the Bay Area [I included a link to some discussion about what is what]. Did you go to college in Arcadia area? IIRC, its Humbolt State College (or University now) that's in Arcadia.

Northern Cal Description

Default I was there from '74 to '85, 6th grade through 2 years of college.

Didn't go to Humboldt State, went to the junior college, College of the Redwoods, that's south of Eureka, and then got accepted to California Polytechnic State Uni here in San Luis.

Arcata was sort of a fun place to grow up and I stayed away from all the dope smoking and got into sports (x-country, track, wrestling) instead. But when it was time to go....it was time to go.

The area is so economically depressed, and you combine that with 50-60" of rain a year, foggy summers in the 60's, and everything rusts to the door handles.....man was I glad to get out!
