What kind of engine should i get??

I have to get a new engine for my 1992 audi 100 s
does anyone know if a 2.7 Liter V6 Bi-Turbo would fit in or any other engine that would give me more power and performance

Since the 2.7L biturbo engine was intorduced w/ the next "C" generation chassis, I doubt it would be worth the cost to try and install anything other than the engine that your 14-year old 100S was designed to hold.

it was only on the 98 on A6 that Audi reduced the size of the engine compartment.
Based on that it would be possible to fit anything from the 2.2 20v turbo, 2.7t right up to and probably including the RS6 4.2turbo if you really wanted to.
The tp the original question is that if you have to aks the question, then I woudl suggest it is not a good idea to try and take it on.
Just stick with a good replacement 12v 2.8

Cars are not made up just of an emgine you would ned a whole slew of parts to go with it... otherwise starting torque, grear changes etc would harm the rest of the car or the engine if all the items are not matched... not to forget the brakes themselved need to be upgraded just to stop the monster...

on the track. Of course, if you interested only in 0-60, than you need some V8 or something.
